Electronic Arts Madden 09 franchise will celebrate it's 20th anniversary this year. With the release of Madden 09 on August 12th, EA will commemorate the 20th anniversary with a special collector's edition of one of the best selling franchises of all time.

The Madden 09 20th anniversary collector's edition will include the full versions of both Madden NFL 09 and the all-new NFL Head Coach 09, exclusive classic Madden gamplay, and exclusive bonus video content.

Similar to what we recently saw with Valve's release of the Orange Box (5 full games in one title) it looks like the Madden franchise will follow a similar path by offering both standalone titles in one offering.

Either way it is always fun to pick up the next iteration of Madden.
